Camping with Grandma and Papa.

My Mom and Stepdad were kind of us to take the twins over night so that Glen and I could have one last date night, at a friends wedding, before he headed off to Whitehorse for the summer. They took them to their camp site at Wabamun lake, and were so excited that I don't think that they even said good bye to Glen or I.

How sweet is this, they are holding hands while they sleep.

Soccer is Over............Finally.

As much as I love my children, they drive me crazy. Let me tell you that this years soccer season really, really tried our patience.
We all know that Kiera is just not into sports and would rather be sitting alone digging in the dirt or chasing her shadow, but right now they both are not ready to be apart in separate activities which makes it hard to find programs for them. Kayden enjoyed herself most days but asked almost every Tuesday and Thursday if soccer over yet.
We tried soccer and we never have to do it again.

Here they are showing off their new Tim Horton's soccer ball and brand new shiny medals!!

Calgary Zoo

We took Sydney on her first real trip to the Calgary zoo. Last year she really could have cared less where she was, but this year she had a blast!!
Kiera at the Koala exhibit.

Poor Kayden was so sick but she sucked it up for a picture on a lion statue.

It's Summer Again......

and that means it's time for the blow up pool!! We have this issue with needing to buy atleast one new pool a year and this year was no exception. It started off with the Giraffe pool which some of you may remember from last year.

And moved on to the new Whale pool - picked out by Kayden - this year as I happened to put my foot right through the bottom of the old one while trying to dump it out. It also works quite nicely as a playpen for Hunter!

Fernie.

Glen's boss was nice enough to let us use his condo in Fernie, so we decided to celebrate Miss Sydney's 2nd birthday a couple of weeks early.
On the way there we stopped at Frank slide again because the girl's had so much fun climbing the rocks on our vacation last year.

There was an amazing jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom of the condo so we put all four kiddos in the tub one day!

Downtown Fernie has this really neat little park that we had a great time at.

Happy Birthday Sydney!

First black eye.

My poor little man got his first injury. Sydney dove off of the couch and landed with her forehead right under Hunter's eye. This was taken right afterward so it isn't too bad, but it did get all yucky and bruised for a couple of days.
